Chemical Release
Chemical Release:
- It is recommended that managers identify external sources for a possible chemical release.
- Are you located in close proximity to a manufacturing plant that produces or uses chemicals?
- Are you located near a railroad track that could have a derailment? If so, you need to formulate a plan in case of a chemical release.
- Is it possible to seal fresh air intake for the building?
- You would want to assure that all people remain in the building until it is safe to exit.
This determination would be made by local emergency personnel and should be available to you through your local radio stations.
