| This is one of my favorite photographs.� It was created by Robert Mapplethorpe.� I know what you're thinking, but this guy had such an amazing sense of color and light.� And the calla lilly also happens to be my favorite flower.� Even Mapplethorpe's more "controversial" subjects are amazing.� Jesse Helms would not agree, but how many people really listen to him? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Here's another favorite photograph visuialized by Ansel Adams.� The sense of solitude and, perhaps loneliness, is overwhelming and beautiful.� It is quite haunting.� Adams was a master of landscapes and not many have matched his uncompromising eye for beauty. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| What can be said about children's photographs on Hallmark cards?� Okay, some people might think this style of photography to be somewhat "tacky", but Kim Anderson has such a fun spirit (and romantic), I can't help but smile sheepishly over her artwork.� These roses, my visitors, are for you. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
