A BRIEF HISTORY...
of me (David), but only brief.  I can't reveal TOO much, now can I?  Just the basics.  If you've made it this far into this thing I call my webpage(s), thanks for being curious as to what it's about...or what I'M about (but then again, I'm not sure of that myself).

I was born on March 30, 1971 -- yes an ARIES --   in a place called Altoona, Pennsylvania (located in central PA), where I was raised by two great parents (who are still happily married) and with an older brother.

After highschool, I attended Penn State and began studying psychology.  After deciding that I could not live a life listening to other people's problems, I switched over to English writing.  Unfortunately, during my college career, I had supported myself completely (full-time job, full-time student) and had payed for everything without any help.  My funds soon began to dwindle and I suddenly had no choice but to curtail my college education and move to New Jersey (a few years previous, my family had relocated to Brigantine, NJ).

While living on the east coast, I had attended dealing school and found myself dealing Blackjack, Roullete, and Baccarrat in the casino.  That lasted for about four years when I finally decided to move to Los Angeles (Studio City, to be exact) and am currently trying to build a screenwriting career.  Shocker, I know...a struggling screenwriter in Los Angeles...go figure!  Well...it could be worse, I could have said a struggling actor.

So...here I am (TA DA!)...almost thirty...single...being raised by two cats I've had for seven years (HI, ALLIE AND BOOMER!!)...and just trying to find a place to fit in.

Oh, I'm gay, by the way.  Never had any sexual relations with a woman.  I've always known what I wanted...yet still unable to obtain that.  THAT would refer to my dreams and hopes and amitions:  a rewarding career, a wonderful person I could be proud to share my life with, friends that I know will be there for me, and an ever-supporting family.  Well...I've acheived a few of the mentioned...but not all.

HOME
I've been in three long-term relationships (depending on your definition of long-term, that is).
The longest was for three years, then two years, then one year.
I prefer being involved in a relationship.  I enjoy the closeness...the intimacy.  I don't do the "dating" thing well.
At least I don't think so.  It's the uncertainty of "does he feel the same way as me or not" phase
that drives me loco!!  I'm the impatient Aries...always wanting things right now.
But I'm working on that (with a grin).
