The porcelain-faced beauty with the megawatt smile has enjoyed a meteoric rise to stardom. She was already a top model when she started her TV career in 1994. Known for her natural acting flair, her first year as an actress saw her winning both the Most Popular Newcomer and Best Actress awards in Star Awards 1995, an annual award ceremony for TV personalities.

Fann has come a long way and has become a bonafide hot and regional star. Her albums and music videos have made her a pop star in Taiwan, not to mention Hong Kong, with already 2 movies under her belt. Her silverscreen debut in The Truth About Jane & Sam, by acclaimed director Derek Yee, won her a nomination for Best Newcomer in the Hong Kong Film Awards 2000.

More notably, in 1998, the mega-popular TV series Return of the Condor Heroes made her a recognisable face in China and Taiwan. The sky is the limit for Fann. Incredibly hardworking and versatile, she is the first local star to hold a solo concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. This beauty is also the first Asian celebrity to be chosen as the spokesperson for international fashion label Emporio Armani.

Fann's list of achievements is uncountable, and being the all-rounder that she is, it will not be hard to imagine her as the next big thing to hit the international scene, with her first in the Hollywood production Shanghai Knights, acting alongside international stars Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson and recently a movie Dance of the Dragon with Hollywood star Jason Scott Lee and Korea star Jang Hyuk. Fann was also awarded the "Best Actress" award in the West Hollywood International Film Festival 2008.
