Talent-spotted from Forever Fever, a critically acclaimed local movie, Pierre Png made his entry into the entertainment circle by winning Fame Awards 1998, Singapore's nationwide talent quest on MediaCorp's Channel 5. With his winsome boy-next-door good looks, Pierre was one of CLEO magazine's Most Eligible Bachelors and Female magazine's Most Gorgeous Hunk in 1999.

A versatile actor, Pierre demonstrates his comedic talent in the award winning sitcom PCK Pte Ltd, as that of a hapless but earnest yuppie architect. In Money, a landmark English TV series shot on film, Pierre charms TV viewers as the protagonist Sonny, a yuppie stockbroker. In 2001, Pierre made his debut on Channel 8 with the Chinese epic drama based on World War II, In Pursuit Of Peace as a student changed by the brutality of war.

Following Forever Fever, Pierre has since gone from strength to strength in movies. Heading Raintree Pictures' first English movie, Chicken Rice War as a modern day Romeo, this flavourful movie represented Singapore in the prestigious Los Angeles Film Festival. In The Eye, Pierre played a Thai doctor which horrified audiences to a respectable $14m box office in Hong Kong and $1m in Singapore at its first week release. He was invited to play another lead movie role in Somchai's in Nothing To Lose, a dark dramedy directed by the acclaimed Pang Brothers as a compulsive gambler.

Hardly one to rest on his laurels, Pierre went on to delight the Chinese speaking audience with the role of Mo Yang Yang, an upright policeman in the heartwarming Holland V, a successful and top-rating 125-episode drama on Channel 8.

As Pierre continues in his meteoric rise to fame, he took on new challenges when a lead role in Rouge, MTV's first-ever regional TV drama series beckons him to venture into new territories. Watch out for Pierre as he continues to make waves across the region. In 2007, Pierre ventured into the china market with his first Chinese drama co-production with China, acting alongside Taiwanese artiste Ruby Lin.
