Hobbies and interests are generally formed from our experiences and opportunities. I haven't had a chance to sample all of the options available for entertainment and information but from what I have done, I have developed some favorites. |

| I didn't really grow up with gardens. I mean, we had one once that I remember when my mother and stepfather attempted to "live off the land". So gardening is a new adventure for me. |  |

Our homeschool group used to go candlepin bowling once a month but that stopped when I was in my third trimester of pregnancy with my daughter Kimberly. I enjoyed the monthly bowling excursion and hope we will resume going one day. |
| My favorite carnival game at our local fairs is Skee-ball. I must admit that I have mastered the game and can win a prize with only a few attempts. The key is to roll the ball off the side of the rail and roll it hard enough so when it hits the little jump, it will land into the 50 point hole. |  |

I designed my first website for our local homeschool group...and have revised it many times since that first site! I love designing websites! I offer my services to the public through my Corner of the Web Designs business. Know anyone who wants a website made? Please pass my link along. |
| When I first learned that elephants were being slaughtered in Africa and Asia soley for use of the ivory in their tusks, I was horrified at what greed will make some people do. I am equally upset that the orphaned babies of the mother elephants slaughtered are then sold to work in a circus for the rest of their life. |

I've developed an interest in medieval items specifically gargoyles. I don't know why but they appeal to me as guardians and great works of art and imagination. |
| I've
written one song in my life and am interested in writing lyrics.
It might be an avenue I pursue in the future. I also seem to have
a knack for writing, even though I don't enjoy doing it much. I
don't mind typing but hand writing gets very boring and tiresome to
me. Thank goodness for computers!
I am also interested in personal empowerment techniques and I really feel like you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Positive affirmations do wonders! |

| My biggest interest is my family. My husband and children are the center of my life. I am always trying to be a better wife and mother. I think I'm doing a pretty good job but you'd have to ask them for their opinion. J |

I am also involved with community activities. I am the member of the Health Start Task Force with Communities for Children. I am the regional director for NOCIRC of Maine. I am also the group coordinator for our local homeschool group, Central Maine Self-Learners. |
