| Current News News Archives (coming soon) Fan-related info: Uncharted Territories: Miscellaneous info: |
This lexicon is only of the people, places and creatures found in Farscape. I don't have any of the various phrases like "By the Hynerian Gods" in it. There will be pictures of some of the people, etc. the entries refer to added at a later date. What follows is just to get started with. Episode(s) info is taken from follows in parentheses. U-V-W-X-Y-Z Halosians: An alien race which attacked Talyn, who fired on them in self defense. They then came after Moya and fired on them because of Talyn's action (though they were in actuality firing on him first). Their weapon combined with the fact that the defense screen was only at 62% when it hit caused an odd reaction in the crew of Moya: they switched bodies. (Out of Their Minds) Haloth: Name of the old man whom John thought he was going to meet who could possibly send him home. Unfortunately, he turned out to be another form of Maldis. (That Old Black Magic) Hasko: A male Delvian on the New Moon of Delvia and follower of Tahleen. It was his job to distract Aeryn, D'Argo and Rygel up on Moya using his mind powers so they wouldn't be able to aid Zhaan. He made Aeryn believe that her pulse rifle was in pieces and she didn't know how to put it together again; D'Argo think that his son Jothee was on board Moya; and Rygel believe that he was shrinking. (Rhapsody in Blue) Hassan, Lieutenant: The scientifically-minded member of Larraq's commando team. She was killed by John who was infected by the intellant virus while she was examining Zhaan's herbs. (A Bug's Life) Heskon, Lieutenant: A lieutenant on the PK Gammak Base in the Uncharted Territories. He was attracted to Chiana, but was unable to continue his pursuit of her due to his superior's interest in Chiana. Later he denied to Aeryn Sun (who was playing PK in order to free John) that there were any transmissions coming from Crichton and Stark's cell, and was shocked to discover there was, opening the door, and then was knocked out by the radiant Aeryn Sun. It is not known if he survived the destruction of the Gammak Base. (Nerve, A Hidden Memory) Hyneria: Homeworld of the Hynerians and the Hynerian Empire, which has some 600 billion subjects, not all of whom are Hynerian. (Premiere; I, E.T., etc.) Hynerians: Small, grayish-green amphibians who have three stomachs and fart helium when nervous or frightened. (Premiere; I, E.T., etc.)
Igg: Name of the jester which was one of Maldis's forms that appeared to John. (That Old Black Magic) Ilanics: A race allied to the Luxans for many cycles, with whom they also have blood ties. They have been at war with the Scorvians for a very long time. (Back and Back and Back to the Future) Intellant virus: A virus which infects one person at a time and takes on the characteristics of that person to fool the others around them. If it remains in one host for an arn, it will lay its spores. It was wanted alive for research by the PKs. (A Bug's Life)
Jack Crichton, Colonel: Father of Commander John Crichton who was an astronaut in the Gemini and Apollo projects back in the sixties. He was friends with Yuri Gagarin (the first man in space), who gave him the puzzle ring which he in turn gave to John before his test flight. (Premiere) Janixx: One of the Lost Ones. She is over 22 cycles old, so is considered "old" by the suicidal teens on the royal cemetery planet. (Taking the Stone) Javio, Commander Tollona: Peacekeeper commander of the Gammak base in the Uncharted Territories. He was attracted to Chiana, but wasn't fooled by her PK tech disguise when she tried to make her escape with Aeryn's medicine. He planned on abandoning the base rather than staying. He was burnt to a crisp by the makeshift flamethrower created by an ignited fuel cell wielded by Chiana. (Nerve) Jenavian: Also called Jena. She was Prince Clavor's fiancee. In reality, she was a PK intelligence operative put in place to ensure that Clavor never took the throne, killing him if necessary to prevent it. She recovered John's statue's severed head from Scorpius, realigned it on his statue and reanimated John. Then she hid John away and had a shared moment with him in the lake. She faked her sorrow over her fiancee's untimely death, even slapping John when he said that Clavor deserved it. (Look at the Princess, pts. 1-3) Jotheb: A prince of the Trao, who was being held for ransom by the Tavleks in the cell next to Rygel's. His people were going to pay his ransom within a few days. He offered to pay Rygel's ransom as well, provided the Hynerian Empire become subjects of the Consortium of Trao, to which Rygel readily agreed, but Rygel later informed him that he had been deposed. (Throne for a Loss) Jothee: D'Argo's half-Luxan, half-Sebacean son. He was still very young when his mother, Lolann, was killed and his father imprisoned for the murder. He was hidden away by his father before D'Argo was arrested, and D'Argo has been searching for Jothee ever since. Stark returned to Moya with information for D'Argo that his son Jothee was to be sold at a slave auction in a few days, which has prompted the crew into action to rescue him. (They've Got a Secret; The Locket; A Clockwork Nebari)
Kahaynu: Moya's builder and god. He was going to kill both Moya and Pilot just to determine Zhaan's worthiness to protect Moya from those who would use her to create warships. (Look at the Princess, pts. 1-3) Kato-re: Grondeer of the Acquaran people and father of Lishala, a kind and wise man. (Jeremiah Crichton) Katralla, Princess: Heir to the throne. Her DNA was poisoned by Cargn so that none of the Sebacean males on the royal planet were capable of producing a healthy child with her, and by their law, she must wed by her birthday else she loses the throne. John happened to be compatible to her altered DNA, and eventually agrees to marry her to avoid being given to Scorpius. She is currently a statue for the next 80 cycles, absorbing leadership and her planet's laws, etc., until it is time for her and her consort to rule. She is also pregnant with Crichton's daughter, whom he will never see. (Look at the Princess, pts. 1-3) Kcrackin: Leader of the Zenetan pirates. He believes that he is an excellent tardac player, but Rygel was really tricking him into taking a false comm signal code to lead him away from D'Argo and the others. (The Flax) Keedva: A creature, kind of like a vicious hunting dog, which obeys B'Soog's commands. It will go after whoever he sends it after (usually someone who has gotten in his way). (Home on the Remains) Kornata: The head of the research project which created Namtar. She ended up as Namtar's assistant after he took over the project. She helped Crichton stop Namtar and save Aeryn's life. (DNA Mad Scientist) Kyvan: Another alternate form of Maldis. Kyvan appeared to be a trader and gave Chiana the foretelling picture. Kyvan was shot by Aeryn, breaking Maldis's link to this world. (Picture If You Will)
Larraq: A Peacekeeper, leader of a commando team on a special, top secret mission. His Maurader had a cesium fuel leak which caused his team to land on Moya and commendeer her to complete their mission, which was to deliver a living intellivirus to a PK Gammak Base located less than 20 arns from Moya's current position. He was attracted to Aeryn, and offered her a position with his team. He was the last person on Moya to be infected by the virus, and took Aeryn prisoner to effect his escape. John and D'Argo followed, and the virus-infected Larraq stabbed Aeryn before taking off for the Maurader. John had Pilot begin the starburst initiation so that the energy would ignite the cesium fuel and explode the Maurader, killing Larraq. (A Bug's Life) Liko: A former priest who aids Zhaan in getting in touch with her darker impulses which she had buried when she took up the Delvian seek. He also joins with her to give her enough energy to break through to Maldis's reality so she can free John, but ends out giving all the life energy he has to do so, and dies a short time after Maldis is defeated. (That Old Black Magic) Lishala: Daughter of Kato-re who has a crush on John Crichton. She is loved by Ronana, another of the Acquarans, who is very jealous of her apparent love of Crichton. (Jeremiah Crichton) Litigara: The planet which Zhaan, Chiana and Rygel visited looking for information on John, D'Argo and Aeryn after Moya starbursted out of the asteroid field. Its population consists of 90% lawyers, with the remaining 10% doing everything else. Zhaan was put on trial for murder here. Dream a Little Dream "Logan, D.": Rygel's assumed identity in the fantasy the Scarren created in John's mind. He was the new administrator of IASA who was willing to give John another chance at flying the Farscape project. (Won't Get Fooled Again) Lolann: D'Argo's Sebacean wife, who was murdered by her brother, Macton, a Peacekeeper. He then accused D'Argo of murdering her, even though he still had Lolann's blood on his hands. (They've Got a Secret) Lorana: Young Delvian female, follower of Tahleen on the New Moon of Delvia. She appeared to John as his former girlfriend, Alex, and made him believe that she had not only been his copilot on the Farscape 1 project, but was also his wife, in order to distract him from helping Zhaan. She released him from her mind games, however, and allowed him to go to Zhaan. Tahleen had very little respect for her, joining with her in unity because Lorana wouldn't look any deeper at Tahleen's motives. (Rhapsody in Blue) Luxans: The race of warriors to which D'Argo belongs. They are allied to the Ilanics. (Premiere, Back and Back and Back to the Future, etc.) Lyneea: A Denean astronomer/scientist who hid John from her own government and gave him the clorium he needed for Moya. |
