Re: Dieting (something I posted on a message board I frequent)

And the thread is revived..

It isn't just the media now. Some doctors are entering the crude game too, especially mine. Who would think that a doctor would put that kind of pressure on a patient? Well, it seems a bit like medical neglect. In light of soceity's demand, wouldn't you ask a patient who reports "fluctuating appetites" of her history? Eating disorders? Why not check metabolism and investigate other factors to see why this patient falls into the taboo statistics? Don't act like an all-knowing bahstad and simply prescribe a useless diet. I've been through too much crap in this aspect.
When is someone going to inquire about my goddamned nutrition?! WHEN I COLLAPSE!?

Oh sure, she's just lazy.

WRONG. I'm active until I twist + irritate my legs. That is when I fail to be able to walk anymore.

She should have smaller portion sizes.

ER, incorrect! Have you spent time with her and watched the way she eats and WHAT she eats? NO.

So shut the fuck up you fucking mongrel of a medical representative.

I'm going to take your goddamned job if/when my health doesn't fail me. Don't lecture me about goddamned exercise when I already perform enough to strain my muscles each and everyday.

So why aren't you thin?

I'm screwed, that's why. Both psychologically and physically.
