Crescent Hill Garden:

I'm putting Tues. and Thurs. eves and Sat. morning on my calendar for gardening at Crescent Hill. Before all you witnesses, I pledge to make at least one of those each week. (big deal, right?!)

In addition, please contact me if you are interested in
participating in the upcoming garden workshops (late April and mid May) or wish to help in the garden here in Crescent Hill (digging additional beds, weeding, sowing, manuring, mulching, etc...) or crop production in Fern Creek. We are thinking of tilling sometime soon and sowing in late April. (we have about 1/5 acre to work, a large plot!) One thought is to do corn and squash again, possibly more beans and, in addition, a sweet potato patch. (This is rain fed agriculture as many of our ancestors practiced.)
It is up to us! Anyone want to learn or advance your theoretical and
practical knowledge of agriculture, the ground awaits the action of your hands.
For the Crescent Hill Community Garden, I would like to suggest Tuesdays and Thursdays after work/evening for possible work times, and Saturday mid morning as well. Please let me know, however, if there are other times when you would like to come and work. I am usually flexible, and can get you started even if I cannot work alongside.
