| S.I.P.S.A., or the Society for the Investigation of Paranormal and Supernatural Activity, was originally founded by the former Priscus, Sanguinous Vitae, as a devious extortion and money-making scheme to swindle mortals out of their money by faking supernatural occurrences and charging the victims for cleansing the area of the aforementioned occurrences. However, since the truth about Vitae was discovered, the establishment came into the ownership of Brother Samael, who has expanded the business into actual investigation of genuine phenomena. Samael also set up a Board of Managing Directors, which consists of himself, Count ODriscoll, Tomsk Lesteran, and the disgraced Vitae. |
While the supernaturals of Maiden Newton and the surrounding area banded together and formed the Alliance against Lord Arrakon and London, Clive Parkin of S.I.P.S.A. was reading some books that he ought not to have been reading. The consequences of this was that the S.I.P.S.A. building, with Clive inside, was transformed into a solid concrete block. The building remained thus for the following nine months or so, during which O'Driscoll, Zy and Marvin all died, and Tomsk lost interest, until Points, who had since assimilated Vitae into himself, managed to persuade some extremely potent Mages to return the building to its former state. They managed to do so, but not without cost - Paradox really can be a bitch. But Points and the Mages entered to find that Clive had been fine inside all along, and had been continuing his studies while the outside world passed him by. The Mages decided to take over S.I.P.S.A. as their new Maiden Newton chantry, and discovered in Clive an apt pupil. So suited in fact was he that shortly after, his Avatar was awakened, and he became a Mage of the Order of Hermes. Clive now serves in the chantry as a Mage, and day by day his powers continue to grow. It is long since he was a humble university student, and now he has grown to play a major part in the World of Darkness, including in the recent business with an ally of his, the Harbinger of Skulls Dwayne Milliner, which involved many groups of supernaturals, including the Sabbat, the Giovanni, the Mages and the Lupines.. |

| Other employees include the Cainites Zy and Points, as well as one of Samaels ghouls, a kryptozoology student at the University of Maiden Newton called Clive Parkin. Newly-appointed Manager of Finances Marvin, a mortal, is another competent employee, although he is rumoured to be ghouled to a shadowy Kindred master.
