future was again looking prosperous. His Mage friends were able to afford him minor protection from the Giovanni, and his position as Priest in Portalnd gave him the support of his Pack. Soon he was almost all but forgotten about by the Giovanni.
However, when he journeyed to Maiden Newton, England, to meet with a Mage called Clive Parkin, the Giovanni - custodians of the city - saw an opportunity to rid themselves of the embarrassment. They made a deal with the Sabbat of the city - kill Dwayne, and they officially get the city back from the Necromancers. The Sabbat were of course loyal to Dwayne, as a fellow brother of the Sabbat, but complications arose when he was abducted by Lupines, for his 'experiments' on one of their Kinfolk. The Sabbat failed to get him back - the price was Dorchester - and so the Lupines cut him up and posted him back to Masochesus, in fourteen seperate boxes. |

Harbinger of Skulls. Dwayne was born into the Milliner family, the New England offshoot of the Giovanni Family. Raised and indoctrinated into the Family as an academic scholar in Portland, Maine, Dwayne's life was looking promising, as was his career - and nocturnal future. However, twenty years ago, he was abducted by agents of Masochesus, the Harbinger of Skulls Priscus of New England, and she gave him the Embrace - designed as the ultimate insult to the Giovanni Clan. Dwayne struggled at first with his new existence, but soon adapted. However, he knew straight away that his unlife was going to be a dangerous one, as now his own mortal family - and the entire Giovanni Clan - wanted him dead. Meanwhile Masochesus was too busy, and too cold, to care about his welfare too much. Being rather shrewd then, Dwayne made some powerful allies - specifically, a cabal of Mages.
