Mission Statement

The Committee has selected "SA-I-GU/4.29: A Decade Later, We Remember" as the theme for the student gathering at Seoul International Park in Koreatown.



Remembrance is the central theme for the day - a time to educate our community on the events of the past and also empower our community for the future.



The mission of "SA-I-GU: A Decade Later, We Remember" is (1) to remember a significant event in Korean American history, and (2) to present the second-generation Korean American college students as a dynamic voice within the community.

Through this day, strive to foster Korean American student leadership and involvement in the community and to encourage positive relations within the Los Angeles community.
