Jerry Goldsmith namun kabarnya ia menolak membuat score untuk sekuelnya
sehingga kemudian Alan Silvestri ditunjuk untuk membuat score The Mummy
Returns. Ia tidak menggunakan tema/cues dari The Mummy hanya homage di Mumia Attack).
Favorit: The Legend of the Scorpion King, Just
an Oasis, Evy Kidnapped, My First Bus Ride, Medjai Commanders, Evy Remembers,
Sandcastles, We’re in Trouble, Pygmy Attack, Come Back Evy dan The Mummy
Returns. End Credits-nya bagus, sayang tidak sempat dimasukkan ke album ini
dan hanya bisa dinikmati di filmnya. Lagu Forever May Not Be Long Enough yang
dibawakan oleh Live cukup bagus. CD The Mummy Returns di-coding dengan
HDCD. CD audio yang di-coding dengan HDCD (High-Definition Compatible
Digital) akan memiliki presisi yang lebih tinggi dalam mereproduksi suara di

Sutradara: John McTiernan Composer: Alan Silvestri Para penggemar musik film jadi heboh berat
setelah Varese Sarabande, label yang terutama mengeluarkan score film
mengumumkan akan merilis score Predator karya Alan Silvestri tanggal
19 Agustus 2003, 16 tahun sesudah filmnya. Musik film ini dianggap sebagai
salah satu action score terbaik sepanjang masa tapi albumnya belum pernah
dirilis sebelumnya sehingga bootleg-nya beredar dan lalu laku keras dengan
harga gila-gilaan. Kalo ada yang berminat, buruan pesan karena hanya dirilis
3000 buah. Favorit berat: Main theme dari Predator.
Favorit: Jungle Trek, Building a Trap, The Rescue and End Credits dan

Larson di Cinescape: Alan Silvestri’s score for VAN HELSING is
a richly Gothic and thunderously active score. Playing up the
action/adventure aspect’s of Stephen Sommers cheerful horrorshow, Silvestri
(who scored THE MUMMY RETURNS for Sommers) dominates the score with
percussive crashing chords and heavy choir; somber horns and occasional bells
maintain a consistently Gothic mood while the energy of the orchestration
keeps the action moving forward. The score does not have the rich melodic
texture of THE MUMMY and Silvestri’s more melodious scores, but the
heaviness in its orchestration, the sonic power of the choir which elevates
musical moments into signatures of massive orchestral importance, create and

Sutradara: Robert Zemeckis Composer: Alan Silvestri Musik Silvestri banyak dipuji reviewers tapi
presentasinya di album dianggap kurang memuaskan, hanya ada beberapa score
tracks dan sisanya lagu-lagu. Album khusus score-nya menyusul. Wa!! Main theme-nya diawali dengan empat nada
yang sama persis dengan Edward Scissorhands-nya Danny Elfman, dan 3-4
nada berikutnya juga masih mirip plus choir-nya yang mirip banget sama
trademark-nya DE. Brikut kutipan dari Movie Music While the opening
scene and its music are a tad too reminiscent of Edward Scissorhands,
the movie that follows quickly puts all thought of Tim Burton’s classic out
of our minds – at least for the time being. The six-minute suite
acts as an all-encompassing round-up of the score’s main themes, from another
version of the “Believe” theme (this time with a full choir, which makes it
sound even more like Edward Scissorhands); to the bold and
jazzy “Polar Express” theme; the light, childlike orchestral version of “When
Christmas Comes To Town”; and a second, sumptuous performance of “Spirit of
