He has a few various minor scars here and there (including an upside down cross shaped scar over his heart inflicted by Nemesis), but the one that is constantly and clearly visible is the one across his face. LIKES: Plague (though he does not admit it), Ryoko, swords, Japanese culture, darkness, rain, cold weather, being alone, music, samurai, martial arts, Gothic stuff, chains, leather, and motorcycles. DISLIKES: Nagumo, Nemesis, ninjas, death, sadness, and suffering. PERSONALITY: Gothic, cold, dark, distant, depressed, quiet, ruthless, mysterious, strong, and loyal. If he feels any emotion at all, he hides it well with his cold, emotionless gaze. He can be merciless when it comes to killing. BIOGRAPHY: Being mysterious, not much is known about his past other than the fact that he used to be an assassin that went by the code name "The Rogue Prince." Then again, being the top male assassin in the world, he could still be killing people unbeknownst to others. He is from Japan and was professionally trained in the way of the samurai. Sin had a name once, but it is only known to himself. He says that his old self died, so he renamed himself "Sin" and somehow ended up in America. He was in the United States at one point, wandering the Virginia countryside. He was walking down a country road when he spotted a strange assortment of beings at a red barn: two fox girls, a winged fox, a winged cat, and an alicorn stallion. The three flying animals transformed themselves into humans. Curious, Sin stayed well hidden, watching them as they cleaned the barn. Taken aback by Ryoko's strong resemblance to Neena (his little sister), he secretly followed them around for well over three months. Eventually, the group began to notice him and Plague tried to pick fights with him. When Sin ignored her when she did this in the middle of a supermarket, she shot her grenade launcher at him, but he effortlessly dodged the explosive. Ryoko's eyes glowed blue, freezing Plague in her place before she could shoot at the Goth again. Intrigued by Ryoko's immense power, Sin soon began to show up at their house more and more often, always nearby. Finally, they (all except Plague, who protested violently), invited him to stay with them. Sin refused at first, afraid to get close to anyone again. However, as the weeks passed, it finally sank in that he had nowhere else to go and that he might as well have a place to stay for a few days. Well, a few days turned into a few weeks, a few weeks turned into a few months, and he became the fourth person to move into the Imaad house. He had sworn to not grow close to his "new family," but it could not be helped. He had become fond of them, Ryoko especially since she reminded him so much of Neena. When he found out about Nemesis, he swore to protect her and became her guardian. When Wolf moved in, Sin ignored him whenever he tried to start a fight and get revenge for his father's death (and he still does). Sin soon felt himself growing closer and closer to Plague, as well. Thus, he acted even colder towards her than usual for a long period of time. When Nagumo had been found in Japan, he went to fight him, intent on killing him. Kenyamon had told him to let the authorities deal with him, but he paid no mind to her advice just yet. At the last minute when he could have killed his enemy, Sin handed Nagumo over to the Japanese police. Nagumo received the death penalty. However, he escaped prison and fled to the United States before the sentence could be carried out. When he began attacking close friends, Sin sank into an even deeper darkness and vowed that he would carry out the execution himself, determined to get revenge. One cold and rainy October day, he and Nagumo fought for nearly thirteen hours, Sin barely managing to win in the end. Instead of killing Nagumo as planned, Sin let him go, telling him that he did not want to end up like him. Sin is still a loner, but he seems a bit more at peace with himself than when he first arrived. QUIRKS: If ever there were a person who could match Kai for deathly silence, it would be Sin. He does not talk a lot, but at least he speaks some, unlike Kai, who never really has. Usually he answers with one or two words, but most of the time he just glares at whoever is talking to him. Whenever he says a full sentence (though rarely), Kenyamon spazzes out, screaming the phrase, "HE SAID A SENTENCE!!!" Being a Gothic modern day samurai, Sin is highly skilled in swordsmanship and is a powerful warrior, a definite force to be reckoned with. He has a soft spot for Ryoko because she reminds him so much of his little sister, thus he became a big brother figure and a guardian to her. He usually sits by himself in the absolute darkest corner of any room far away from everyone else, always facing the doorway in case danger walks through it. When on the move, he is always beside of Ryoko. Plague constantly bickers with him and they frequently have cussing fights, Sin usually winning, leaving the room, or refusing to speak midway through the argument. They hardly ever get along, but is it just hate? He also has a black V-Rod Harley-Davidson motorcycle that he spends a lot of time working on and tuning. Among the victims that he has killed, Wolf's father was one of them. Wolf has never forgiven him. Of course, Sin could care less if he does or not. Even though most of his persona is a cold blooded killer, part of him regrets the lives he has taken. How Sin received the scar across is face and why he keeps his right arm bandaged is a mystery. CHOSEN VOICE ACTOR: Ronald Allen (Brandon Heat ["Gungrave"]; Jin ["Samurai Champloo"]) THEME SONGS: "Sick"-Seven Wiser "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"-Green Day JAPANESE THEME SONG: "Invoke"-T.M. Revolution THOUGHTS: Sin is one of the earlier characters I've created. I remember drawing him in geometry class in tenth grade and showing the picture to my friend, Prue, who literally almost began drooling and said, "OMFGHE'SHOT%^UYht451 GEG terGghgfsTHbdgbh tra gbda$%!@!!!11!!1!11!1!!!!! @///;///@" I had never heard of a Gothic samurai before, so I did something different. I gave him the longest hair out of everybody (he even outdoes Nemesis!), and an extremely unique sword of my own design. I wanted to keep him mysterious and it took me over a year before I told my friends the basics of his past. As you can tell, I'm still keeping them a secret until I finish his story that I'm writing. ^_< He's close to my heart and one of my top favorite male characters---plus you can't deny the fact that he's a total badazz. <3 |
