To meet the needs of 21st century ministers and lay leaders, MACC offers
courses and workshops focused on: cultural understanding faith leadership
skills empowerment Courses and workshops are offered in Spanish and English.
| The Hispanic Pastoral
Ministry Program (HPM) is a comprehensive 3 1/2 month academic and
experiential preparation for ministry with Hispanics. |
| The Mini Pastoral
is a concentrated version of the HPM. A 3-week, intensive training
in Hispanic culture, faith expressions and traditions. |
| Workshops on diverse
topics relating to ministry with Hispanics, contemporary issues facing
the Church and society, and multiculturalism. |
| A special program
to help non-profits and churches become better at fund raising and
promoting stewardship, especially within Hispanic communities. |
| Intensive Language
Studies with flexible programming. |

MACC's Mobile Team
travels all over the U.S. offering workshops designed specifically
for local audiences. |

The Heart of Multiculturalism
is one of MACCs most requested programs. We work with you to
design this program to uniquely fit your school, corporation, congregation,
or community groups goals. |
Please Note
Housing at MACC fills up fast. If you plan to stay on campus in
the MACC dormitories, please make your reservations well in advance. If
you know another student coming to MACC at the same time you are, please
let the registrar know if you would like to share a room.
MACC has a limited number of scholarships available for those needing
assistance with tuition and fees for MACC programs. Call 210-732-2156,
ext. 7111, for details.
Certain workshops may be taken for credit upon approval of partner
institutions, such as Boston College, the Oblate School of Theology, St.
Mary's University, St. Norbert College and the University of the Incarnate
Word. Participants who desire credit must register ahead of time through
the partner institution. (Local tuition per credit hour is applicable.)
When advertised, workshop participation may be applied toward the
Level II Certificate in the Archdiocese of San Antonio or with approval
of a local Diocesan office.
MACC reserves the right to cancel any program if there is not a
sufficient number of participants registered.
Every effort is made to keep the MACC web pages current and correct;
however, due to unforeseen circumstances, dates for classes may sometimes
change without being posted to the web page. Please confirm the posted
dates with the MACC registrar before registering or making travel plans.
Tuition for workshops does not include room & board. Students
are encouraged to stay at MACC, or may make arrangements for their own
accommodations. Participants in the Border Witness program must pay for
Room & Board as that program is a field experience and is all inclusive.
