What are words for? When no one listens anymore?
I've written a few words in my life. A poem here and there. An opinion or two, usually ones that aren't exactly popular with the majority ....or with the minority, for that matter.
Swimming
is the newest addition to the page.... but, it is actually the oldest. I wrote it in 1982 soon after my wife left me. I was contemplating suicide, but wrote this instead.
Broken Record
isn't really what I'd call a poem. It's more like a bunch of fragments of thought strung together. It's a work in progress, I've been working on for a few years. This is actually only a small excerpt. There are many reasons for the title. The are snippets of song lyrics throughout. But I sometimes feel like my life is like a broken record, just when the song starts getting good the cracked spot comes around and it jumps back to the start.
Grey Scale
was written last year.
No Fault
is not at all what I intended it to be. It started as a song. I really wanted to make it a song. I really despise intolerant people. But even more I hate it when people try to blame a whole group for the actions of a few, or worse tranfer thier own feelings of guilt to others.
Commentary
Sometimes I like to spout about the strangest things.
The death of vinyl and the rise of CD's.
