caveat:  as with the majority of the website, this page is still in the works...

fashion and other girly things

you are what you wear...

Hellbomb:a lot of the things they make can be found in malls and tattoo shops across the globe, but i'm more partial to internet shopping.

Lip Service: occasionally available through Hot Topic; available in person on the west coast. i've gone through a few of the 'fuck' shirts. that, and their models have included Coyote Shivers and the Toilet Boys.

Serious: another company that can be found regularly on the left coast and at random through malls. the creators of the infamous silver cowboy hat.

Trashy Lingerie:  yeah, well...i'm a rebel.  besides, if i have to wear the damn things they sure as hell better fit my personality.  i mean, i'm not old enough to rock the granny panties.  until i am, i'm having fun.

Drac-in-a-Box: a company in Bristol that i found by playing around on the web too much. mostly goth gear, but i'm truly retarded over their cyberwear section.

SoWear Fashion Collective: a site that showcases independent designers. there's always something great to be found or someone new to admire.

Hot Topic and Torrid:  if this makes me a sellout, oh well.  i don't even care.  i like clothes.  i like Old Navy too.  i guess we can't be friends anymore.

the bathroom is the best room in the house...

check the details page for specific love/hate with products

Urban Decay:  makeup for everybody!  i love this company.  they make total rock and roll colors.  and everything has a crazy name like Asphalt and Asphyxia and Oil Slick and Roach.  even boys can wear Urban Decay.  heterosexual boys even.

Blue Q:  they have so many funny products.  i dare you to not find something you like.

Lush:  i don't know if i can spell the happy noises that these products provoke in me...  again, check the d...

Hard Candy:  not something that would normally be associated with me, but i have very fond memories.

Bliss:  a good place to splurge on things like i-gels, really good tweezers, and masks.

music

in no particular order

*note:  i've killed off the local bands.  most of them either suck, or have disbanded.  if you still want a list of unknowns, email me...*

COLD: i love these boys.  every time they come to town, all hell breaks loose.  they're incredible musicians, and they sure can drink.

The Martini Bros.: i've known these guys forever. if you're from the area and don't know who they are, i give you permission to climb out from under your rock long enough to find out.

Dry Kill Logic:  they're so good!  i don't even have words for them.  and they're the most incredible bunch of guys you'll ever meet.  they used to be with Roadrunner, but i forgive them for leaving.

Flickerstick:  i admit it, i was into VH1's "reality" show.  it was called bands on the run and these guys were my favorites (granted Harlow was a close second).  they're from Dallas, and they're incredible emo-indie-rock that almost makes me miss high school and falling in love with coffeehouse musicians.  when they won, i think i almost peed myself.

Coal Chamber: one of my favorite bands.  of all time.

finger eleven: a canadian band that hasn't joined the crap-rock wagon and isn't kittie

where to find these guys

Roadrunner Records:  home to the hardest working road crew in the world, not to mention the incredible bands

Pimprock Planet:  i love this website, even though it's moved like a million and a half times.  the best place to get news, info, and little nuggets of joy from wookubus.

MP3.com: if you can't figure out the address or what the site is, don't talk to me anymore. this is where i tend to find some really great music that i may or may not ever encounter again.

garageband.com: this is a non-corrupt version of the Farmclub.com site. as well as too many bands that really want to win that record contract, this site keeps up-to-date listings for bands all over the globe.

localmusic.com: i tend to pull this up to look at different clubs in baltimore and phillly. then i get off my lazy ass and drive down.

Unsung Hero magazine: even though this is a little magazine from gettysburg, it covers and is distributed a large portion of the east coast.

people you may or may not know

LucyFurr: i found this girl from Morbid Outlook, and i love her. she's like me, only tall (and married now, and i'm way prettier...).

Blue:  he's so wonderful.  he used to live here, but now he's all far away and i miss him.  but i can steal stuff from his website and he don't mind.  isn't he great?

Neal:  he swears he doesn't know about this website.  i think he's full of shit.  i should probably believe him though, because all the pictures are really really old and out of date.  he and blue used to be in love, but things changed...not that you all really needed to know that or anything.

Scorpion: i don't know this guy personally, but i believe i offered to have his children.

Francesca Lia Block:  a woman who is easily one of my favorite authors of all time.  i don't even know how to describe my deep love for her.

Dusty:  he makes horror movies and doesn't sleep and is generally completely off his rocker.  and he has the bluest eyes in the world, i swear to God.

my general stupidity

Writhe & Shine: a comic that i enjoy very much, even in my state of non-goth

SpookyLand: home of Lenore, one of the best comics in the world

Emode:  a random website that i stumbled across by accident (and the inability to spell).  chock-full of random personality tests.  i've done so many it's disgusting.  e-mail me and maybe we can compare results...  and now, they offer dating services as well.

Deadjournal:  it's like livejournal, only cooler.  basically, another site devoted entirely to weblogs.  i have a little space of my own...

Chrome Gardens: tattoo shop in gettysburg where i know the piercer.  his name is James and i love him and i'm soon headed to visit and have a little work done.

Brunching Toys: all kinds of goofy things for your website by the creators of Tina the troubled teenager.

background graphics from a random Lenore fan site that can probably be found by going to www.spookyland.com, which you should do anyhow
actually, i got off my ass for a second and found the site from which i "borrowed" the graphics and it's an incredible site and well worthy of credit. it is Lenore's Playpen

and this is a rare font not from netpedia...it's from http://www.gothic.net/~tygre/lemon.zip

moving on...
