| Muffin was acquired in 1993 for my dad, Grant Dobbs, after the loss of his beloved "James". Muffin was a full sister to "James", and we were in hopes she would help to fill the void left by "James". Muffin has done just that and more! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Muffin was a purebred Aussie, but had no papers (sshhhhh...we never told her). She was the epitome' of an Aussie in every respect, from her extremely distinctive Aussie grin to her unbelievable desire to work cows. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Muffin was amazing when it came to stock. Although she was small in stature, no one had obviously informed her and she would take on our 2,000+ pound Beefmaster bull without blinking an eye! She also never ceased to impress us when she continued to work the cattle even with a goathead (sticker) in one foot. She keeps right on plugging on three legs until the job is complete and then she would stop to remove the sticker. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Muffin was a deliberate, determined worker that never got "flustered" and worked quietly and confidently....always. Muffin was working helping dad move yearlings up to 3 days before she passed away peacefully in her sleep. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Muffin lived on the ranch in Idaho with Grant and Mabel Dobbs. Although, Muffin was not a part of the Rocking Z breeding program, due to her non-registered status, she has produced several fabulous working dogs over the years, including "Bailey" , "Max" and Belle. She had a fabulous loving temperament. And could always be found throughout the day in very close proximity to Mr. Dobbs, just lending a hand and a bit of company.
