| While growing up on the ranch in Challis, Idaho, I never really understood people who had an unwavering devotion to an individual breed of dog. I love animals, and have always had a canine counterpart, but a dog is a dog.....is a dog......Right? That's what I used to think. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| It was 1985 when our first purebred Australian Shepherd came to the ranch. His name was King James-"James", and he was a black bi that was as regal as his name implied. Up until "James'" arrival, we had any type of dog that would work cattle. We had Heinz 57 mutts, blue heelers, red heelers, and various crosses. While all of them were competant, valuable, beloved workers, and each one possessed unique attributes that they brought to the ranch, we never had that "All-Around" versatile dog until we discovered Aussies. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Since "James", every dog that we have acquired to work on the ranch or to be a "company dog" have all been Aussies or Aussie crosses. We were HOOKED! He sparked my family's undying love for Australian Shepherds that grows on a daily basis. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| We feel all of our dogs and puppies are great. However, although we work very hard to breed Australian Shepherds for the betterment of the breed, sometimes they might not possess all of the attributes we had envisioned for our kennel and for our customers. As a result, we completely stand behind our breeding program and our dogs. | We are very proud of each and every one of our dogs and puppies and there is no greater satisfaction to our breeding program than when a puppy buyer tells how wonderful their dog is.
