About Us
Marshall and Zane currently reside on the ranch in Weiser, Idaho.  They recently relocated after spending the past 9 1/2 years in Winnemucca,  Nevada, where Marshall managed a large potato, wheat, and alfalfa hay farm since 1996.  They both now help Zane's parents run the longhorn/beefmaster ranch, raise alfalfa hay and Australian shepherd stock dogs.  They reside on scenic Mann Creek with their twin daughters and teenage son.

Marshall and Zane were both raised in the beautiful state of Idaho.  Marshall in Middleton and Zane in Challis.  They both dearly love the state and their families both reside there, including Marshall's two grown sons and now tow grandsons.  They love being back home and closer to their respective families.
At their residence in Weiser, Zane raises and trains Australian Shepherd Stock Dogs.  She sometimes has one litter of pups a year, and occassionally has started dogs for sale.  She starts the pups out on Indian Runner ducks, and then moves them on to sheep, prior to exposing them to their Longhorn and Longhorn/Beefmaster cross cattle herd.
Zane also works as a mortgage originator and bookkeeper for a family-owned mortgage brokerage called Family Mortgage in Caldwell, Idaho.  Zane also does contract bookkeeping for individual clients.
Zane utilizes her BS in Agricultural Business Management/Animal Science by being responsible for all herd management records, ranch bookkeeping, and cattle marketing and promotion.
However, her most important jobs are unpaid and consist of being the loudest fan at, junior rodeos, soccer, baseball, and basketball games, being the "beaming" mom at awards assemblies and dance recitals, reading Dr. Seuss books, tending to sick kids, and, don't forget that all important task of running the "Davis taxi" back and forth for ball practices, doctor's appointments, sleepovers, and miscellaneous kid stuff.
"Give Us a Little Smooch"
Marshall and Zane spend their leisure time working in their yard, gardening, fishing, hunting, watching rodeos, and most importantly spending time with and enjoying their families.
As a result of their family devotion, Marshall and Zane work diligently with various rural groups in an effort to preserve family-based agriculture and the rural way of life for their children.  Every child should be able to make a living through ranching or farming if they choose.  However, due to corporate concentration (monopolization) of agricultural industries, family farmers and ranchers are being run out of business due to lack of fair markets for their goods.  The Davis' plan to make a change for their kids, and anyone who picks up a fork and eats should be concerned about corporate agriculture.  It affects us all!  (For more information, check out the Links page and visit some of the Agricultural sites)
