Misawa Japan is a northern community that is full of culture. There are many festivals and lots of activities going on.The baby salmon release which will be taking place in March is a chance to experience Japanese culture and help preserve the environment. There is also the salmon festival that will be later in November. You also can learn how to plant rice in a real rice field and your invited back for the harvest. If these things don't interest you there are plenty of festivals to enjoy, as well as food.
