(commentary)  Raiders won this match in 2 games, and never gave up their lead.  The SixPack fought hard, though, and nearly swept some rounds.  Despite continued booting of some players on both teams, this was a fun match.  Its always a pleasure to play with the SixPack!

When the game started, buffylou and I were faced against 5 lizards.  Within two cats, the calvary woke up and smelled the coffee and joined us. (and our game was at Noon?  Rats are nocturnal...)
Anyhow, it was a slobberfest of fun... and we giggled alot with the lizards.
It was kind of cool to go through pre-season undefeated.  Will our luck hold out?  Squirtle rules!

LOLers had a rather impressive turnout for a Saturday morning!  We played against a severely underhanded Fourplay, which for the first game consisted of just MSM123ANA.  She was such a wonderful sport about it, though, that she earned Fourplay a move of sympathy on dagny's part  dagny played on Fourplay's side for the first 2/3 of the 2nd game!  By now, chasroy had joined in on the action.  The cats were pretty much basic stuff, First Ladies, B Men Names, Elvis, James Taylor, Patsy Cline, things at a Car Wash, characters on Sesame Street (there's no shame in knowing how to spell "Snuffleupagus"! LOL), Vatican stuff, Philadelphia stuff, Louisiana stuff, and a Champ Round.  Towards the end of the 2nd game, with the LOLers ahead 25-3 (and dagny having scored those three), Vi2k made it to the room, and dagny rejoined the LOLers.  The trio of Fourplayers made a great showing, scoring 10 points to our 7 in the final two rounds.  Final score was 32-13 LOLers.

Good luck Fourplay in the reg season !!!  You're wonderful sports!

The wonders were happy to see several book and author cats pass by while we were waiting to start the game today.  But bot still came up with a few word cats throughout the game!

The Rocks started out in the lead 7-2 with Back Muscles.  We REVed up our engines and caught up 8 - 8 with words starting with REV.  We furthered our lead to 13-9 with Beach Boys songs and managed to stay ahead with words with PARA, Comicbook Women and Bands with one syllable.  We took the win with Julia Roberts movies.

We took the lead in the 1st cat of game two - Things that keys open but the Rocks climbed ahead 13-12 with things assoc. w/ stairs and ladders. We fought and took back our lead with US Parks and Monuments.  The Rocks tied it up 21-21 with starts with CRI, but we pulled ahead with SanFransico Tourism.  With a score of 25-24 we typed our fingers off in the last cat Academy Award Winning Directors and we won the game 31 - 28.

Great Game Wonders and Rocks!!!
