(commentary)  The game started out close at 0-0.  After that, the rats scurried away with the first game.  Bot threw cub scouts, golf courses, harrison ford, & oceans and seas at us.  The rats took the lead from the start and headed for the sewer with a 31-15 win.  Game two started out a little better for the Rocks.  The Rockers held a solid lead through much of the second game.   The Rockers rocked through australian singers, monopoly properties, B capitals, pokemon, & paints.  The rats tied things up at 28 on sports movies. Then the rats did it their way, sweeping the rocks on Sinatra and taking game and the match 31-28.  It's always tough playing the rats.  Next time we'll stock up on d-con.  Congrats to Nitewriter for her MVR award.

5 (teams)  RATS vs ROCKERS
(Game1)  31-15
(Game2)  31-28
(MVP)  BUFFY
(roll_call)  WATTLE, JIMON, MINIPINI, SINSEAR, EV, BUFFY, TEXMANIA, CORWIN, WENDYBIRD, NEIDERMAYER, LAUREN
(commentary)  GAME 1 was a battle that will go down in the annuals of ridic lore, two titans battling it out with the RATS victorious. WENDY made a strong showing with 5 RAT points. Game 2 started out bad for the RATPACK, down 6-19, we laid a trail of slobber down and with NIRVANA playing in the background and SQUIRTLE waiting to rear itsa ugly head we came out victorious. The whole team played exceptionally well and a new MVP was crowned BUFFY (alias BUFFYOLEO, BUFFYBABE, BUFFYFRIENDOMINE, and BUFFYTEASE) led our team to victory. I guess the 4 CHAMP rounds helped us get our SLOBBER ON.

It was an interesting night in Tourney3 against the Raiders.

Game 1 started with the two teams juggling the lead, until the Raiders made a great showing on Greek Tragedies and rolled straight into a 34-17 win.

The second game, we took a monstrous lead of 7-1 with 2 letter words, and continued with a 13-2 lead on Advertisors.  The Raiders made a steady run, chipping away at our lead, little bit by little bit, but a sweep on Phish songs that yours truly was disconnected from participating in (or we might have won 2 rounds sooner) was what saved us in the end  the final score was 31-29 LOLers.  So even though we won, the Raiders outscored us 27 to 18 in the last 5 rounds.

In the last game, the tables turned and the Raiders put US on the plate, starting with an 18-2 lead on a double point Lavyrle Spencer novels!  We made a valiant effort, but alas, the Raiders won 32-19.  And disregarding the double pointer, we outscored them 17-14.  But still.  Great game Raiders!!!
