It was a fun night, playing the LOLers!! We tried so hard, but fell
short in both games. The LOLers took a quick lead in the first game
and they never looked back. We had to deal with 3 Champ rounds
throughout both games, so we had a lot of time to visit and laugh.
Also, during the last cat of the first game we had a massive boot that
kicked most of the people out of the room. They all came back
quickly, and the score was not affected.
The second game began with a tie in the first round at 3-3. The
LOLers took the lead in the next cat, "Kool-aid Flavors", making
the score 5-11. The stayed ahead and won with a final score of
16-36.
Congrats to Sibil, our MVP of the game!!!

(teams) Third Rock vs. Six Pack
(Game1) 35-31 six pack
(Game2) 3?-1? six pack
(MVP) Sixthrhyme
(roll_call) Hope_1, Rockhead_1, Sketchem, Hiwaystar, Ysatis,
Nitewriter, Sixthrhyme, Amours-Jade
(commentary) It was a very disappointing performance by the Rockers
tonight. Six pack defeated the Rocks in two games. The Rocks
kept the first game close, losing on a double point round. The
Sixers ran away with the second game and the Rocks couldn't come back.
The Rocks appear to be on a bit of a Rock slide but it's only pre-season,
we'll rally back. Congratulations to Sixthrhyme for her Most
Valuable Rock performance.

The sewer is a nice place to be.
The wonders are a tough team.

didn't.

What an excellent turnout we had tonight!! Great job Sevens, we're out of
the hole with our first win against them there Lizards!! Here
leezard leezard leezard...
LOLers wasted no time in taking off to a 7-1 lead on B Composers.
Feeding on the momentum, we whizzed through Candy Bars and Patsy Cline to
take a monstrous lead of 17-4. Lizards made a good effort to get
back in the game on the Football cat..whichever one has all the bowls for
the answers, that one, yep, Lizards fared well in that one making the
score 21-10, but the 777's knew our birthday party stuff, and our Britcoms
to win the game 31-16.
The second game was a little closer, with us taking a lead of 5-3 on foods
with places in their names (like Wisconsin tubesteak). We scored 6
to their 2 on Koolaid flavors to make it 11-5. Occasions to send a
card closed out the first half of game two as we Fed Ex'd our way to a
17-9 lead. Red foods and fast food places brought us to our 29-15
lead, and we rode off in a blaze of glory with Bon Jovi songs, final score
being 36-16!
Great game Lizards! Great to see all you guys again!

(Game2) Wonders 31 Rats 32
(MVP) ATHENA
(roll_call) Players Tonight: Athena, Hoov, Jfgordon, Keycat,
Gertsee, Angel_wolf, EIM, Vodka, Libra, Shel.
(commentary) Hey, what can I say. In the first game, the Rats
took the lead and kept it. We heard the traps snapping, but it
didn't help. In the next game, we started off the lead with
composers that began with B. Thena knew her composers! In the
next round, the Rats tied it up with Shakespeare plays, and then took the
lead with island nations. We didn't give up without a fight, but the
slobber got the best of us, with a final score of 31-32.
