This magical being happens to be the Spirit of the World, and the creator of everything that existed within it. He holds an incredible amount of power, which can make many creatures' dreams an almost certain reality. However, many years ago he was secluded from the world around him. But don't be distraught - he can be awakened and brought back into the world if the Four Masks are brought back to him.
Ly is a fairy, and as you can see, like all the other fairies she holds amazing powers inside her body. But there just so happens to be a catch - when the Robot Pirates came and exploded the Heart of the World into pieces, her powers were heavily weakened. This leaves her spending her time in the game gathering energy. They in turn are used to create Silver Lums, which are used to give Rayman new powers.
A muscular brute, Clark is nothing more than a one man army. :) With one simple attack he can send pirates down to his feet. But he has a weak point - a sensitive stomach. This can cause a few problems if he accidentally stuffs his mouth inside a henchman's arm or something on those lines.
Carmen is a graceful and magnificent sea creature, and her job is to travel her way through the depths of the seas and oceans around her, leaving air bubbles behind, each of them being possible to make the difference between survival and accidental drowning for stray plants and non-fish animals. However, she has a problem - she sometimes ends up being chased by a bunch of piranhas, whom seem to enjoy taking her air bubbles for their own selfish needs.
Ssssam is a young serpent with a high spirit inside his body. In fact, he has that much of a spirit he makes himself a good use towards the world and is often seen as the ferryman for taking travellers across the Marshes of Awakening. Don't think of it as an easy ride though - he lets the inhabitants take a hold of his scarf and waterski across the swamps! O.O
This cyclops is a terrifying creature, and he has a job of guarding the Kingdom of the Dead, where it holds a horde of monsters and creatures locked away after being created by Polokus's nightmares. No one has dared to make their ways within the depths of the Cave of Bad Dreams, but there have been rumors that it contains a precious treasure for whomever finds it.
