Rayman has had quite a rollercoaster ride through life since his first ever quest several years ago. Speaking of which, that was where he learnt more of the outside world other than his back yard (!) and found out that he was needed as a hero for tomorrow, since the current defender of the world, Betilla the Fairy, failed in reclaiming the stolen Protoon from the hands of Mr. Dark. He was portrayed as a strong warrior with a happy-go-lucky feel inside his young mind, and within his journeys he seemed to have the time of his life getting to grips of six different worlds and reclaiming order around them. |

No one knows what happened to him over the years that followed, but the inhabitants that helped him on his journey became forgotten. Over time, he found a best friend by the name of Globox, a new guardian fairy by the name of Ly, and a new source of power to keep guard called the "Heart of the World". It wasn't long until a swarm of robot pirates, lead by Admiral Razorbeard, wanted to take over their world, and that was where he and his new found friend were set into a rebel group together, but then... they both got captured. Upon escaping and embarking on setting the others free, he started to show a more rebelious side to him, yet he still retained his youthful spirit. With those in mind, he used his fists and his heart to the full potential and stopped Razorbeard before he could cause any more trouble. |

Several more years and a race-battle biathlon later, he started to spend more of his time near the Fairy Council with Globox, doing almost everything with him. His attitude started to get slightly more aggressive, and he almost suddenly became a bit quiet to make conversation with. To make up for it, when it came to Andr� and his Hoodlum army trying to conquer the world, which soon became one of the toughest tasks in his world-protecting career, he seemed to discover that he gained plenty of new skills, including the ability to curve his punches and the ability to use the Hoodlums' laser washing powders. He even learnt that he could playfully punch Globox if he wanted to, let alone following his every course when drunk! :P In a nutshell, his skills have grown more powerful but he has kept the same charm that he had since his first voyage. :) |
