Murfy |

AKA The Flying Encyclopaedia |

|
A greenbottle with most of the jazz brought right inside his smiling mouth, Murfy is the critter that holds the know how on how to get to several enemy camps undetected. He uses this ability to look into vile plans - whether it be from the robot pirates or the black lums - and reports back with the best way to go around them. He can even express his results with small tips throughout the game, or - in the case of the second game - telling the tips in person when someone steps onto one of many "stones of thought". This makes him a handy guardian for Rayman, therefore that's how he earned his nickname "The Flying Encyclopaedia". |

But his happiness didn't last long - he was told that after Rayman 2 he would be placed in a film as an artist who falls in love with a beautiful girl, whom can only be described as having great big "eyes". But... he was turned down in the last minute, and this left him angry for the way he was treated back then. This somehow started to change his tip giving tactics in the third game, as he started to sound much more sarcastic. He even started to develop a grudge towards two different entities - the game's manual, and the project manager. Let's hope he realises what he's doing when Rayman 4 arrives on the premises! |
