What is a tree? Wikipedia defines a "tree" as : A tree is a perennial woody plant. Trees often represent much more than this, and play a very important role in keeping the planet alive, maintaining our oxygen supply and ensuring that we don't poison ourselves to death with our own exhaled carbon monoxide. In the Bible, trees are used often in the parables of Jesus, and represent becoming closer to God. The book of Jeremiah tells us in Chapter 17, Verse 8: "For he will be like a tree planted by the water, That extends its roots by a stream And will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought Nor cease to yield fruit."
