Resettlement
services include:
- Case management
including guidance, counseling, referrals, advocacy, and documentation
in areas of: housing; financial support/welfare; Immigration and
Naturalization Service (INS) applications for refugee status adjustment,
U.S. naturalization and family reunification; medical care access;
ESOL training; elementary through high school enrollment; citizenship
education
- Educational
guidance and referrals and allocation of funding in a manner supportive
of the goal of early self-sufficiency based on employment
- Vocational
counseling and job placement services with a goal of early self-sufficiency
based on employment
