Chamomile Introduction
Chamomile may help calm you and relieve restlessness and tension. It is used cosmetically in Europe for the skin. Chamomile
promotes healthy skin, immune system and digestive function. Enhances overall feelings of calm and relaxation. Chamomile helps calm
the mind and body during times of physical and emotional stress. It is one of the oldest British medicinal and beauty herbs.
It has been used most successfully to make blonde hair blonder, and as a tea to treat insomniacs. Relax sore, overworked muscles or
inflamed joints with a calming massage of Chamomile and Mixing Oil or Tangible Massage Lotion, or contribute to the soothing
of digestive upsets by massaging the mixture into the stomach in a clockwise direction.
This essential oil is rich in azulene, a natural
anti-inflammatory and healing agent. It has relaxing and sedative benefits, and smells of apple and straw. It is used for stress,
sleeplessness, headaches, rashes, insect bites, toothache and menstrual or menopausal problems. To ease headaches and nervous tension,

Chamomile Precautions
Chamomile should NEVER be used directly on the skin. The oil should first be blended with a carrier oil (candles, specially blended massage and bath oils, bath products etc... are considered diluted). Avoid if allergic to ragweed. Chamomile may cause skin irritation in some. Not to be used in early pregnancy. Be careful when using for babies, children and the elderly with consulting your physician.
With all essential oils, never use on or around newborns, if you are breastfeeding, have a breathing problem, taking medications, on a strict medical treatment plan by your doctor for an ongoing medical condition, consult your physician.
