Thank you so much for finding such a nice home for me! They have
2 cats (one plays, the other one sleeps a lot), and live in a
great neighborhood with lots of other dogs (most of which I have
now met)! The streets have lots of trees with birds (which
usually fly away when I bark at them) and Squirrels! I do hate
Squirrels! I chase them up trees....but they walk over the phone
wires to the other side of the street and I cant reach them even
when I jump as high as I can!

Hello my name is Misty.
I started out a little rough when surrendered to Reign and Hail
Sheltie Rescue at age 9. However, I have had 14 teeth and a cyst
removed from my mouth. I have a little trouble with my hips, but
I get help with vitamins and well... I get carried down steps.
I tend to just "hang out" where ever my Mom is, I don't beg for
attention, just as long as I am near someone is fine with me. I
love treats and when ask if I want one, I certainly say Yepperz!!!
I am a really happy in my new home.

Just wanted to let you know how our new home is! We have a nice
backyard to run around and play in. We love to race after the
squirrels and always wait by the back door to be off and running
after them! We have met all of the dogs and cats of the
neighborhood and they are a tolerable group. We answer back when
they bark out a greeting to us! We love our new big brother Max
who we give kisses to. It seems like this home is a perfect match
for us and we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else! Love, Mya

Hi my name is Lucy, I was rescued by the Tew family and it has
been great. They have lots of room for me to run and play
Frisbee, I get lots of treats from Mom and plenty of snow to
roll around in and eat. Not to mention the car rides and the
fact that I like to crawl in my dads lap and help him drive. The
cats I get to live with didn’t really like me at first, but they
tolerate me know, except for when I try to herd them up- they
don’t like that much- but I sure do. I still don’t like to jump
on the furniture or the bed, but I'm working on that because I
really enjoy forcing my lovings on everyone- especially in the
bathroom. But my favorite thing is when my new dad puts on his
sweat shirt and starts wrestling with me- and I hate to loose! I
still sleep under the end tables at night because it makes me
feel safe, but I think I found the greatest family in the world
and I couldn’t be happier.

It's been about a month since I left you and I just
wanted to tell you about my new home & family. First,
my new family gave me a new name-I am now JAKE! I have 2 sheltie
sisters here- big sissie Penny, and little sissie Brandi. They are
silly and lots of fun & I even play with them sometimes! My mom &
dad are super too. They are patient & loving with me.And they want
to do a lot of fun things with me, like long walks, car rides,
and playing ball. But they understand I'm not quite ready for all
that just yet. My mom says that's
O.K.- I can take all the time I need - they'll be here
for me when I'm ready. My dad & I watch TV at night
on the sofa - he calls me a "work in progress". They
tell me all the time how great I am. The first year of
my life sure started out pretty bad, but now I feel
like I won the doggie lottery! Thanks, Ellen, for
rescuing me - and thanks for finding this great
"forever home" for me. Love, Jake
