		NEW CAMPAIGN

CHARACTER: Paul's Smartass guy --- don't recall name. PLAYER: Paul W. STORY: College student at TCU --- who realizes his girlfriend was a victim of the Joker murders. MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Paul hurled an empty mug of beer at Joker, bouncing it squarely off his head. After doing so, Paul had to choose which of his friends would die -- Holly's char or Matt's. He chose Matt's -- who was holding on to a rune stone which Joker wanted.

CHARACTER: Vrigore the Orcish thug PLAYER: Lucas R. STORY: A witness to one of the Joker's crimes. MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Cleaning up a group of dime-store hoods at the Little Boy Blue's club, gaining instant fame in street gang circles.

CHARACTER: Holly's annoying rich girl --- don't recall name. PLAYER: Holly S.. STORY: College student at TCU --- rich valleygirl! MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Constantly failing her IQ roll when she has a good idea, and then spouting utter nonsense solutions.

CHARACTER: Mark - a Persona user PLAYER: Jon P. STORY: College student at TCU --- who has a hidden power. MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: For me, it was when he had to face off with Joker alone in a dark room -- and he landed a critical axe blow to Joker's head, forcing him to flee. Also, figuring out where Joker would strike next with Matt, using the information they had gathered.

CHARACTER: Fred - a half-drake. PLAYER: Matt P. STORY: College student at TCU --- who has a hidden power. MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: For me, it was when Matt figured out where Joker would strike next. Also, when he was thrown from a five story building, only to have his head cleaved in twine thanks to Paul's character.

A killer named "Joker" stalks through the streets, killing only blonde victims. The PC's become entangled in the plot when one character's girlfriend dies at his hands. Slowly, they piece together who The Joker is - and what he's after. However, before the PC's succeed, they are ultimately defeated by Joker when he gets what he wanted from the PC's. This may be the clearest PC defeat campaign I've run. After the Joker Campaign, others followed which I cannot recall. Or at least I believe others followed.
