Things took a turn in a later adventure where Lug (The Gnoll) was wounded and ran screaming from the hospital he was in. Ashwyn retired from the group to find his lost friend, and a new character was introduced. I don't remember his name, but he was a mute Rocktroll.

The PC's met Jon's new character in a bar where Majnoon and Pottle started some trouble. The Rocktroll ended up helping the PC's -- with the ensuing battle leaving Pottle and Alyana dead.

Holly introduced her new character, Miako - an operative for the Koga (think Yakuza) who was to infiltrate Chase's mercenary operations.

The next adventure found the PC's discovering the "Steamborg", a twisted combination of man and machine being mass produced in a weapons factory. To what end, however, they never found, as soon they would be timehopping.
CHARACTER: Rocktroll ???
PLAYER: Jon P.

STORY:
I don't recall, but Jon knows.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Finding a magical artifact that allowed him to speak -- but only with William Shatner's voice. 
CHARACTER: Miako
PLAYER: Holly S. 

STORY: Undercover agent for the Koga.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Passing off valuable information retrieved about Steamborgs right in front of the other characters to one of her fellow agents --- and the PC's never even noticed.
