| Samael Chase sets the group to destroy a Savastano warehouse. They do not know what is inside - all they know is that they are getting paid all too well for it to be legal. Malak, Chase's attorney is put in charge of the operation. On the way to the warehouse, driven by Jacob Owens (Chase's personal assistant) the group see's a horse tied to a lamp-post. This is too much a curiosity in The City not to investigate. When they enter the tiny tavern, they see dead men draped everywhere, bullet holes marring the walls, and a single man dressed in leathers with a decorated cloth poncho over himself. He is sipping whisky, his foot on a man's neck. They come to know this character as Rowdy Yates, a Outlander from beyond the Villes who has a score to settle with the Savastano mob. They join forces - and soon all hell breaks loose. Before the crew strikes, they see three characters enter the warehouse in a black Steamercar. Later, they would come to know these men as Jack "The MachineGun" McManus, Majnoon, and Pottle. They wait for the major villains to leave, and set to their work. Their plan is near flawless, taking advantage of brute strength and their sharpshooters. Soon, the warehouse is rendered useless and near collapse, narrowly escaping police involvement. Little did they know how far back they set the Savastano mob... And little did they know they had made foes in High Places. |
