| THE REPORT: While sleeping in their rooms at the Back Door Tavern, Ari'seleara, Raven, and Shakaku were awoke to find everyone in the tavern had been slaughtered by a man Shakaku referred to as Majnoon. The situation quickly grew worse, as amazingly, Bootskill and some strange men wearing City clothes appeared out of thin air. Doc Cyrus (Adam's Char) and Ginji (Jon's Char) arrived also, after walking through a strange dream door. After doing battle, Shakaku disbelieved the situation, revealing that the group was trapped in a dream manufactured by Joker, who referred to himself as Johnny Yale. After being cursed by Yale, the group woke up to find the carnage in the tavern had actually occured. Upon awaking, Ari and Raven discovered there was a riot in progress outside - and that Imperial soldiers were storming the building. Shakaku was busy visiting a place his feline companion called "Umbra." After being taken into custody, they met with Andys (AN-DIS) Valdymere, the Lord of Caltha. (Shakaku experienced a "Transformation.") Valdymere explained he was no longer intrested in marrying Ari - saying that ship had sailed, but offered to reward the group for disposing of his enemies. The reward came in the form of a prison sentence to the Forgotten Cells. Doctor Cyrus and Ginji came onto the scene, hired by R.P. Rappaport to retrieve the group from their prison. (So far, Lorsha has not been heard from....) Once in the prison, using fake mercenary papers, Cyrus and Ginji attempted to rescue the group who had been starved by the cruel gaolers, "Hiss and Flinch." Using the Apple given to her by the old man on the road to Skifferfen, the group took sanctuary in a magical cabin, healing their wounds. Upon setting out to escape the Forgotten Cells, a hulking creature barred their escape, and Ginji saved the group by firing a missile into the cieling, collapsing it and creating a barrier between the group and the monstrosity. The group is currently lost in the Forgotten Cells, plumbing it's depths in hopes of finding an escape route.... |
