| Betrayal: The Forgotten Cells | ||||||||||||||||||
| THE REPORT: We left off with the group lost within the Forgotten Cells. Slowly, they began to get their bearings, and progressed through the strange labyrinthe, learning that the dungeon was once a royal vault for the Valdymere clan. Among finding vast wealth within a trapped vault, they also set into motion a waterworks system - a system that may help them escape. During their searching, they also found a human Imperial named Corey Harper - a boy who found his way into The Forgotten Cells by accident, and was siezed by the guards. Upon his release, he told the group he knew a way into Valdymere's Manor -- which seemed to interest Wren/Raven. Most notably, within the depths they met Medicus Moduro - a man who serves Pravus Malum. He offered them an escape route, and even help from his "servants" if one amongst them would subject themselves to experimentation. Moduro has been crafting a machine of some nature for his master, who had forseen the group would come to Moduro. While the group sympathized with Moduro, and found him inoccuos, they still stood against him for what he represented: An Agent of Evil. Unfortunately, they had not counted on his minions, particularly the "Demon Smith", which is a twisted abommination with an enormous body with a dwarf sewn into it's back. The Smith nearly killed Ari, and even though Shakaku could sense victory over the weakening Moduro, they agreed to Moduro's ultamatim to leave without further violence. Meanwhile, Raven/Wren had found and barely survived one of Grimtooth's traps entitled "The Maw", progressing to what she believed to be the designated exit. Here we leave our heroes, contemplating escape. |
