PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Bogrishe Orcs have a dark grey/green tint to their skin, with jaundiced yellow eyes.  Their frames are slight in comparison to their kin, but they are slightly bulkier than humans; describing them as wiry would be appropriate. (Figure weight normally and deduct 10 lbs.) The bogrishe are also smaller, rounding out around 5'5". A tall Bogrishe is 5' 8".) The hair on their bodies resembles thick mats of green, damp kelp.

ENVIRONMENT:
The Bogrishe inhabit marsh lands, and swampy areas. They have adapted to their wet environment, and rarely fall ill to disease or poisons.

TRIBAL DESCRIPTION
:
Bogrishe is a catch-all term for any bog dwelling orc. Their tribal customs vary, though they seem to be the most savage of their kind. They venerate fire - and have a very simple way of life. They have no understanding of iron or blacksmithing - only stone forged weapons.

The subsist from a diet of insects, swamp dwelling creatures, and other sentients foolish enough to wander into their territories.

TRIBAL CUSTOM
:
Bogrishe are known to eat their young - those they feel are the weakest. They are also known to eat other sentients - elves and humans are considered a delicacy. Dwarves are far too tough.
Bogrishe tribes war with one another ceaselessly; prisoners expect to be consumed. It is better to die "A warrior's death" than to be taken captive.

Surprisingly, most Bogrishe worship a diety called Gnar Sah - a debased compilation of Sylvan that translates, however roughly,  into "The Enemy" whom they believe created them.
Their role is clear - to create dischord, to destroy, and to flourish.
Their belief in the same diety doesn't stop their in-fighting. Only the strongest can survive - to better serve "The Enemy."

This "Enemy" is an ideal, or an aspect, rather than a solid diety in their eyes. The Bogrishe philosophy is that all is choas, and that they were created from chaos. They are best suited to their environs, so they are superior to all that would enter it. By destroying, they serve this sense, and "The Enemy."

They hold that they are the chosen of "The Enemy" and that they will be remembered when he returns, a chosen amongst his mortal people. When this day comes, they will feast upon the flesh of the innocent (a particularly sweet cullinary delight) and trounce the unbelievers.

The tribes of Bogrishe regularly participate in sacrifice, to appease "The Enemy." These sacrifices are usually not of orcish kin - a proper sacrifice is a human or preferably an elf. The sacrifice is a tribal ordeal - a universal event. For the sacrifice to be successful, a fanfare must be held terrorizing the hostage. The greater the hostage's dread, the greater the impact of the ceremony. These ceremonies ofted dredge on for days when a suitable sacrifice is found.
