During the Spanish colonization
of the Philippines, Real is but a small Barrio of "Binangonan
del Ampon" or "Binangonang Malayo" now
Infanta. Real is a small village under forest cover
and thick canopy of dipterocarps tree species. Because
of its coastal advantage the place was usually frequented
with Muslim sea pirates and bandits. The first inhabitants
of Real came from Barangays Balubo, Cawayin, Alitas
and Binonoan, Binangonan del Ampon. They came trough
Tongohin Binonoan as they paddle their "dilos"
bancas/canoe and walked the remaining kilometers on
their way to secure their daily provisions. These settlers
with the help of hand farm tools and instruments engaged
in agriculture and fishing activities. They make the
area productive and progressive.
