Every event this big needs rules. No matter how stupid they seem, we need to keep the event appropriate for people of all ages, While keeping us out of trouble with the law.
Read the User Agreement to find out the exact boundaries
- People under 13 need permission from a parent before registering or coming to the event. Come on, we need to manage a huge portable network. We can't be babysitters, too.
- No Smoking or Alcohol is allowed. This is a public event. We don't have a liquor license, and the building's owner requested that nobody smoke inside. You'll need to go outside into the parking lot if you need to smoke.
Duh....unless you feel like being on COPS, we suggest you leave your bong at home.
Nuff said.
- No food around the computer area. This is an easy one to understand. Most people will have their machines in the main area, and we aren't responsible for anything broken or damaged during an event.
- One exception, drinks kept in a recloseable container can be used around the computers. Please tightly close the container after it is done.
We can't have people slowing down the network just for file sharing. And it would get us in deep deep trouble.
It's a public place, we can't people watching/listening/feeling those type of movies/images/games/software/etc...
- NO CHEATS! - Please DO NOT use cheats that would make the game unfair to everyone else. Players that use cheats during tournaments will be automaticly kicked out and banned from future games; NO REFUNDS! Cheating during non-tournaments will be alot less strict.
