A short film for the Duke City Shootout ~ July 2005
Doug Aarne,  from New Jersey, penned this highly symbolic poetic piece into a screenplay for the Duke City Shootout competition while going through rehabilitation from a severe electrical shock he received on the job. Doug was laid up for quite awhile as he slowly made his recovery with his son Doug Jr at his side. The pair journeyed to Albq. after Doug was notified that his piece, "I Am" was one of the finalist films chosen to be made in less than a week's time for the shootout.
Mr. Aarne was very fortunate to have an outstanding crew help him realize his work
under the expert guidance of the film's mentor, Christopher Coppola.
Ric was also fortunate to be called in to work this small show that made a speedy debut on the big screen. Ric says this was the BEST crew and set atmosphere he'd ever been on.  GOOD ON YA GUYS!
All the guys and gals on this set were the BEST, it was great working with you. - Ric
