"Unhinged" is the idea of writer/director Corey Steven New of Los Alamos, New Mexico. The family drama is about how a  closeknit family slowly comes unraveled as they deal with the pressure of having the youngest son as a fighter pilot on active duty the night the Gulf War starts. The approach to the story is both fresh and novel, something not seen or touched upon by the major production companies.  The film dramatically recreates the evening of January 16th, 1991 when America watched the video feeds as Baghdad was being bombed and the anti-aircraft fire weaved their deadly patterns across the Iraqi skies.
Corey New assembled a fine group of performers to bring life to his vision, the entire cast and crew worked exceptionally well together during the bitter cold nights.  It is a tribute to him that the cast and crew stuck with him through the filming and the inevitable delays and changes that occur during a production.
This film promises to be both entertaining and thought provoking as it deals directly with recent history and the current events that are shaping the history of our world at this very minute.
