Long feels sorry for her kung fu sister, who at such a young age lost everything and everyone that she had. She tells Li that their master had favored her and worried about her even after she left the tomb. Li dismisses her words as empty and once more urges her to tell where the exit is.
When Long refuses, she raises her red sash, threatening to scar her face if she does not tell. At that instant, Yang Gou releases himself from Li's Paralyzing Punch and quickly jumps to defend his Gugu. Overcome with rage and surprise, Li Mo Chou attacks using the deadly Red Sash Palm, her most powerful technique.
Without stopping to think, Yang Guo holds out his hands and shouts, assuming that long-forgotten stance taught to him by Ou Yang Feng, Ha Ma Gong (Toad Stance). His strong nei gong pushes Li and Hong violently against the wall, rendering them unconscious.
Afterwards, Yang Guo helps Long to her feet and as they face the wall, they notice a map of the Ancient Tomb inscribed on the stone. (NOTE: Wong Chong Yang had created the tomb as a war fortress but he also added some escape routes for his comrades who might get trapped inside.)
Yang Guo and Xiao Long Nuu follow such an escape route. They descend deep into the tomb until they come upon a sparkling stalagmite cave with a stream that leads outside.# Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 |
