I'm the one responsible for all the materials (text and photos) in the site, except for those contributed by fans and those borrowed from other sites (check out our CREDITS portion below). Lawless is the one who does all the updates and overall management of the site. She also acts as the gatekeeper, monitoring everything that goes in and out of the site, and does all the translations of complicated Chinese terms and scripts.
The reason why we put up this site is, I guess, pretty obvoius. The series is our favorite so far. Lawless has also read the original novels by Jin Yong and loved it, of course, so she knows much more about the story than I do.
The anime is actually based on the second installation of the Condor Hero trilogy, Shen Diao Xia Lu (Return of the Condor Heroes). The first book, called She Diao Ying Xiong Zhuan (Legend of the Eagle-Shooting Heroes), features Guo Jing as the central character, while the third one, Yi Tian Tu Long Ji (Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre), takes place several years later and introduces a whole new set of characters. |
