Here is a breif guide to some of the beers available in the UK. |
|
Beer Name: Fosters Other Names: Amber (after amber nectar), Urine Taste: Well amber it may be but it is only just classed as beer. Fosters has a very lightweight taste, good for those just starting out drinking or for women. It is refreshing but I suspect this is more due to a high water content rather than the quality of the beer. Score: ** Beer Name: Amstel Other Names: Ammy Taste: Only tasted this once, while in France. It has a taste simalar to Fosters but is far stronger. Refreshing with a smooth taste. With a simalar amber colour to Fosters. Good but not worth travelling to France and dealing with those garlic eating poofs for. Score: *** Beer Name: Grolsch Other Names: Grrollssch (Dutch Accent) Taste: mild, refreshing and with a pleasant aftertaste Score: **** Beer Name: Heineken Other Names: "Oh god is that all you have?" Taste: Foul, simple as that. its harsh, its dry and its not very alcoholic. avoid at all costs. Export is marginally better. Score: * |
