Ash rock. Thats all there is to say. "Girl From Mars" was the classic song that brought them to my attention, and it still sounds great now. I seriously recommend their latest album "Free All Angels", even if you only buy it to hear the first track "Walking Barefoot".
I was introduced to Incubus by my reluctant aquaintance Amy (she mings), and they are great, different to other groups listed here because they are more lyric based, but that doesnt mean they dont make great tunes.
| Without doubt the best band of all time. They have their critics, but in my eyes they are the greatest thing ever to come out of Manchester. The new album "Heathen Chemistry" is great, check out "Little By Little". | |

"Performance and Cocktails" was a great album, and "Just Enough Education To Perform" comes close. Songs to look out for include: "Pick A Part Thats New", "Just Lookin", "Have A Nice Day" and their version of "Handbags And Gladrags".
"Been A While" is the reason Staind are here. The album "Break the Cycle" is also excellent but at times depressing. "Outside" is another great track to look out for
System Of A Down are a high energy band with some great moshing songs. "Chop Suey" is now widely regarded as a classic but also look out for "Toxicity" and "Prison Song" all of which are great.
Less Than Jake use a lot of trumpets, as Puck once said. They are excellent, I was introduced to them by Corky who got to see them in Birmingham (jammy b*****d)
Drowning Pool were brought to my attention by the "xXx" soundtrack. Bodies is amazing but then i got a cassette of the album from Chris and it rules!
The quintessential punk band. "Basket Case" got them their popularity, and it still sounds great. The last album wasnt as good, but just buy "Dookie" instead.
