| Even though the focus is placed on bicycles made in Canada, any bicycle might find itself here. The hand made Italian Torpado being a perfect example. Though the Peugeots made in France have received considerable attention, one cannot snub the Canadian bicycles that bear the Peugeot name. | Sekine opened a Canadian factory in 1973 and began producing bicycles of very high quality. A number of different models were made over the years, few of which exceeded the Sekine "Medialle" SHT. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Even the British hung their shingle out in Canada. This Canadian made Raleigh "Grand Prix" is a fine example of the mark. Once again, the Canadian factory did a good job of producing a quality bicycle. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Canadian Cycle and Motorcar Company was, at one time, the premier bicycle manufacturer in Canada. Hardly a lightweight, the CCM Redbird roadster was acquired through the use of a bulletin board advertisement. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| One can only assume that there have been, literally, hundreds of makers of bicycles. Value and virtue cannot be assigned to Canadian Made Bicycles without first comparing them to other marks. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
