July 2002

Besides moving all our stuff in July was a moderately busy month. We painted the two bedrooms and really lightened them up. The bummer was painting such light colors (ceiling white on ceiling and some sort of barely yellow white on the walls) on a darker background led to many many coats and alot more time than was anticipated. Lesson learned... use a base coat and maybe even buff the walls a little.

Roy built a cheesy makeshift fence around the place to keep Roxy in during the day. The fence failed to keep Roxy in (no real surprise there) but Kris spent an evening teaching Roxy just how much trouble she could ge t in with the master if she jumped it so now Roxy is content to stay inside the fence.

August 3, 2002

We came up with a plan for our closets and went and bought some shelving and brackets and rods and constructed that. It actually came out pretty neat.

August 11, 2002

Yay! New batteries were successfully installed! We had great help from our neighbor who replaced a section of flooring where the old batteries had leaked and caused some damage. He also gave us alot of valuable time and advice and heavy lifting help. Here's some pics and more details about the batteries for the interested.

Pumkinn Ghia. arrives. (ya, I know, this has nothing to do with Rancho Limbo but it's cool and it does live at Rancho Limbo.
