Well, (hehe, well, get it?) the well is coming along slowly. The first step was for them to put the rig in place. Only one guy came back the next weekend, dug 25 feet (no kidding, that's all) and called it a day saying something about needing different drill parts. Maybe they will finish this weekend??? Then the thing needs to get hooked up to the house and we are going to add a pressure tank between the house and the tank so there is still alot of work to be done since electricity also needs to be run down to the well for the pump.

Well, (heehee, ok, no more of that), this is the rig and the beautiful California sky that we are bored with already (no, not really).

We want water but a little Texas Tea might pay some bills. This is the business end of things here.

Just included this to show that the well is going to be sort of in front of the garage. It's unfortunate but necessary to stay to code. You'd think with over 17 acres we could find another spot but it's all either too close to the pond or just too hilly.
