It's late and your lost in an eldritch forest, your not even with anyone, and the silence is deafening. You continue to wander about when suddenly a spark of light catches your eye, it moves rapidly and you have to run as fast as you can to keep up with it, you leap over fallen logs and other obstructions until suddenly the light disappears. However it disappears so quickly you end up falling over into a shallow spring. You look around but it is pitch black, a shiver runs down your spine and you wipe your hands on your already wet jeans. Suddenly a blinding light bursts from no where, and as the light slowly dims, you see an angel before you.

"Hello, I am Grace, sorry for disappearing like that but I wasn't sure whether you were a friend or foe... but I presume you're a friend?"

"oh yes!" you burst out.

"That's good, the reason I have to be so careful is because I'm currently guarding a Lyris egg, if you follow me you can see it."

So you get up and walk after Grace; before long you come to a tree with a huge hole by it's roots, and there inbetween the roots is the egg.

Leaves and gifts surround the azure coloured egg with white flecks, and when you walk round to the other site of the prodigious oak tree you see Grace has made a little house for her Lyris which he/she would be able to crawl into without leaving the den.

Grace does a bit of magic to clean and warm you up then she tells you about the 'Lyris', she even magics you up a drink, snack and blanket. An hour later you decide to leave, you promise to return, and then Grace teleports you back home.

9 days later you return to see if the Lyris had hatched, but when you got there Grace and the egg were no where to be seen. You decide to stay a while and regain your breath. But just as you go to leave a green creature races towards you and knocks you over. A moment later Grace appears yelling 'Glow Worm! Come here you little devil!' Then once realised it was you she'd quickly added, 'hi! It's nice to see you again, sorry about Glow Worm... she's very lively.'

After your little 'collision' you and Grace settle down to talk. She tells you all about her little Lyris cub and says she intends to take her to meet an older Lyris named Blix when she's a little older. How beautiful she was... playing happily in the ferns with the butterflies... so sweet and innocent.

But then she disappeared... the moment Grace realised she leapt up and began searching through the ferns. The two of you search for an hour with no luck, and then you see her, she's stuck up on a cliff! Grace launches off and begins flying towards Glow Worm. Moments later the two are standing safely beside you. You sigh and go back to their 'home' to regain your breath. Once you have you head off home and promise to return for a second time, you also apologise about forgetting to bring a gift.
