As you glance about the cave you see a flicker of light further back, as you approach you realise the light is coming from torches. After what seems hours but is only minutes you stumble into a different part of the cave, the floor is covered in rose petals. Crystal formations hang from the cave ceiling, and several crystals have formed on the sides of the cave, making the cave scintillate. It As you look up you see a formidable silver dragon looking at you in an piqued way, then you notice the dark fairy resting on a ledge. She fondles with a lock of her lustrous raven hair, her saturnine eyes never straying from you.
"What brings you
our way stranger? Demon doesn’t like visitors.….”
The dragon the dark faerie called ‘Demon’ snaps in your direction. His mammoth tail begins to flick from side to side in vexation, creating a tumultuous thud every time it strikes the stone terra firma. A smile plays over the fairy's lips as she watches the gargantuan dragon. You notice the horde by his nest…. weapons, gold & jewels and other strange objects.
"Nothing really.... I.... er just came to explore." You mumble, wiping a hand across your forehead, it was so torrid inside the cave!
“Very well then what gift have you brought? Demon likes things to add to his horde, especially shiny things.”
You look about you thinking about what you could give. Suddenly you remember your watch, it was silver so it should interest him… you throw it to the fairy and she seems to ponder over it’s worth for a while before tossing it into the pile of objects.
The dark fairy nods, "very well then, you may stay and have a look around, just don't break anything!"
